Kew

A fascinating area thanks to its narrow, leafy streets and because of its two-storey houses that recall times past. The underground is the best way to get there although it is also quite a quick and easy drive from the centre of town. Traffic, except for some main roads, is practically non-existent. A special mention must be made of the Royal Botanical Gardens, which house one of the world's greatest collection of plants. Probably the only criticism is the scarcity of shops and the distance from the centre of London.
