There are the two very different neighbourhoods in the 19th arrondissement. There is the famous Cit de la Musique, the Znith and la Cit des Sciences, with its famous Gode, and all its cultural attractions. However parts of the 19th arrondisement are poor and inhabited mainly by immigrants. The architecture consists of large anonymous buildings, wide streets, and green areas are located mainly around the Parc des Buttes Chaumont and the Cit des Sciences. There is plenty of pay-parking and the metro connections are good throughout the neighbourhood. There are many low-cost restaurants and small late-night grocery stores usually owned by immigrants. Life is inexpensive but at night there are few bars and its not safe.
