Tuileries
In the 1st arrondissement the gardens of the Tuileries extend from Place de la Concorde up to the Muse du Louvre. Two elegant streets, Rue de Rivoli and Rue S. Honor are the main attraction The first has many antique shops under its porticos. The second is home to the most trendy stores in Paris. La Place Vendome, the "richest" square in Paris, is within walking distance, lined by some of the best-known jewellery shops in the world. The architecture is breath-taking, with its tall and elegant buildings. Wide windows offer a glimpse of beautiful ceilings decorated with stucco and sparkling chandeliers. The neighbourhood has good parking and good metro connections, therefore it is easy to reach. There are also many elegant and expensive restaurants but it is almost impossible to find an ordinary grocery. Night life consists of some very trendy and very expensive clubs.
