Air India is in talks with Dublin Airport with a view to making the recently-opened Terminal 2 its new transatlantic hub. After withdrawing from its former base at Frankfurt due to lack of capacity and high costs, the company considered seven European airports, with Dublin and Birmingham believed to be the final two in the running.
