Austrian Airlines to invest in quality

Austrian Airlines has announced plans to remodel ten of its long-haul planes to give passengers a better quality service.

Business class is to be equipped with beds, more comfortable seating arrangements, computer equipment and better food. Economy class passengers will get the latest in video equipment and will once again be able to order hot food although this will not be included in the price of the ticket.

The re-modelled planes will be operational by April 2013 and the investment will cost the airline about €80 million.
