As usual in the autumn museums in Brussels open late on Thursday evenings from 20 September until 13 December. Each week about six museums of the 55 participating offer guided tours on Thursdays from 17.00 to 22.00.
About six new museums have joined the Nocturnes scheme this year. Last year about 18,000 took advantage of the late-night openings.
There are about 100 museums in Brussels, which work together in the Brussels museums council.
