Brussels parking plan postponed

The residents’ parking plan for central Brussels has now been delayed for a few months because of suggestions and queries by residents and traders. Additional meetings have now been scheduled before the scheme goes into operation, some time in 2013.

The city is also considering a parking card for hospital teachers and staff.

The parking meters in Laeken North and South, where they should have become operational in early October will not now start working until some time in January 2013.
