The European capital attracts more international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) than any other city in the world according to a study just published by FAIB (Federation of European and International Associations Established in Belgium). In 2007 there were 1,677 NGOs headquartered in Brussels, compared to 819 in Paris and 701 in London.
