The routes of trams on the Ring Boulevard have been changed. Line 1 (previously lines N and 65) now runs between Prater Hauptallee - Schwedenplatz - Ringstrasse - State Opera - Stefan-Fadinger-Platz, connecting some of the most important tourist sights in the city including the Town Hall, the Imperial Palace and the Natural History Museum. The route of Line 2 (formerly lines J and N) now covers Ottakringer Strasse - State Opera - Ring Boulevard - Stadtpark (golden Johann-Strauss- Monument) - Museum for Applied Art (MAK) - Schwedenplatz - Friedrich-Engels-Platz.
