Dairy farmers from all over the world who keep herds of Jersey cows are in Jersey for the 2008 World Jersey Cattle Bureau Conference.
A group of delegates spent a week touring farms in the UK before travelling on to Jersey and some will go on to France to look at herds of Jerseys there after the week of events in Jersey.
During the week in the island there will be a three-day conference, attended by around 300 delegates, to which the key-note speech will be given by the National Union of Farmers president, Peter Kendall.
