A bathing boat (Badeschiff) with a swimming pool and sundeck, moored to the banks of the Danube Canal between Schwedenplatz and Urania, will be open for business from mid-May. The boat, a converted Danube cargo ship measuring 76m x 11m, is a new addition to the annual summer riviera in the centre of Vienna, which also features a beach bar, the Strandbar Herrmann, and a caf-cum-barbeque garden upriver at the Adria Wien. The badeschiff will operate daily from 10.00 to 02.00 until September. Admission will be approximately 5.
