Denmark suspends AstraZeneca vaccine: 'Coagulation problems in patients'

Danish authorities have suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine as a precaution after finding clotting problems in some patients.

Copenhagen's decision to suspend the use of AstarZeneca was made after "serious cases of blood clots were reported among vaccinated persons," the Health Authority explained, adding, however, that "it has not been determined at this time that there is a link between the vaccine and blood clots."
