The Worldwide Cost of Living Survey has ranked Dublin as the 25th most expensive of 143 cities, a drop of nine places since 2008. Conducted by Mercer to help multinational companies estimate rates of pay for international employees, the survey has found that Dublin has dropped out of the world's top 20 most expensive cities due to falling rents and the strengthening of the US dollar.
