The "Amsterdam Weekly", the Dutch capitals free English-language newspaper, has celebrated its 100th edition with a special comics issue, featuring some of the citys top cartoonists, and a party at the hip De Nieuwe Anita club. Winner of three European Newspaper Awards this year, for excellence in photography, illustration and front page presentation, the weekly has a free circulation of 21,000 copies and is available in over 500 locations across Amsterdam, including bars, cafs, bookshops and restaurants. The listings section is to be put on line in the near future.
