Oxford is getting ready for its annual St Giles fair as an estimated 20,000 people prepare to flock to town for the event on 5 and 6 September. St Giles road in the city centre will be closed to traffic in order to accommodate the fairground and Magdalen Street East and West, and Pusey Street will be closed from midnight on Sunday 4 September until 08.00 on Wednesday 7 September. Cars will also not be able to travel along Beaumont Street (from St John Street to St Files) and along the Banbury Road (from Parks Road to Keble Road).
