Innovative IT and creative high-tech companies are to move in to premises belonging to the University of Copenhagen at the Amager (KUA) Campus as of the beginning of July. In response to the chronic shortage of space at the IT University (IYU) in the restad, contracts renting up to 9000 sqm of floor space are about to be signed, with 3000 sqm to be occupied immediately. The success of the ITUs incubator for innovative companies set up in March 2005 has meant that demand for space has exceeded expectations, with international companies also looking to rent space in the Danish growth environment. First companies into the new space in KUA will be creative businesses in the videogame, media and design industry.
