The Jubilee underground line has reopened after a brief closure over the Christmas period for the introduction of a seventh carriage on all Jubilee line trains. With the extra carriages the line will be able to carry 39,000 instead of the present 33,000 passsengers an hour. This improvement is part of London Transports 10 billion 5-year investment programme.
