75,000 sqm of vacant land in the restad urban development district, which stretches from just south of Copenhagen city centre to the airport, is to have world famous architect Daniel Libeskind as designer and town-planner. Following an agreement between the restad Development Corporation and NCC Property Development A/S, Libeskind is to leave his original mark on the area. The Polish-American architect, whose work includes the Ground Zero project in New York, also recently designed the interior of the Danish Jewish museum in Copenhagen.
