MEP Jozsef Szajer caught in illegal orgy in Brussels during lockdown

The organizer of the orgy in Brussels talks: "The MEP? He crashed my party”.

David Manzheley, a 29-year-old student, owns the apartment where the party that marked the end of Hungarian premier Szajer's political career took place: "I was responsible, I invited ten friends who respected one condition: all of them must have already had covid.  But the Hungarian deputy was not among the invited guests.

While the story of Jozsef Szajer's alcohol and ecstasy fueled party with 24 other men, in violation of covid restrictions, has weakened the Hungarian politician in his European battle against the Recovery Fund, new details have emerged about what happened that night in the apartment on Avenue des Pierres, in the center of Brussels.

David Manzheley, a 29-year-old student and owner of the apartment which was raided by Brussels police for noise and lockdown violation at 9.30pm, has revealed the details.  These details render futile the conspiracy theories circulated by the media close to Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán, which, moreover, have practically obscured the news and have gone so far as to speak of a trap set by the German secret service to strike at the Hungarian government.

First of all, according to Manzheley, 59 year old Hungarian premier Szajer crashed the party.

The boy, in an interview circulated by international media, explained that he often organizes parties in his apartment.  "We talk and drink like in a club, the only difference is that we also have sexual relations.  I don't see anything wrong with that, we are all adults and consenting".  He goes on to say, "I didn't know this man, he was a friend of a friend".  According to some sources, Szajer, in order to convince the owner of the apartment to welcome him to the party, promised that in the future he would reciprocate the invitation.

The student denies accusations of having behaved dangerously by organizing the party in the middle of a pandemic: "I was responsible, I invited ten friends who respected one condition, all of them must have already had covid and must not have symptoms.  I had confidence.  I knew my friends would not lie to me about it.  To be honest, I don't see the problem.  There were also two nurses, they confirmed to me that it was not dangerous".

Then the apartment owner explained the police raid: "Suddenly it was full of cops in my living room.  Documents!  Right away!  But we weren't even wearing underwear.  How could we give them ID cards?  This made the cops even more furious.  They said very bad, horrible things, against gays".

The rest of the story is already known.  Szajer tried to escape from the window by climbing down a gutter, he injured his hands, he was grabbed by officers who found ecstasy pills in his backpack, he took out his parliamentary card and invoked immunity. On Sunday, like a thunderbolt in the clear sky, he resigned as a Member of European Parliament.

Meanwhile, the story caused tension in Hungary because Szajer, married to Tunde Hando, a judge in the Constitutional Court, and father of a son, was one of the fiercest homophobic of the political party.  So much so that he fought to be a champion of Christian values and promoter of the constitutional reform of 2011 that made life impossible for the LGBT community.

Jozsef Szajer was a leading light in Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s ruling conservative Fidesz party and an ally for more than 30 years.  The incident came at an inopportune time for Hungary’s premier, who was in a dispute with Brussels over rule of law criteria tied to the EU budget, while struggling with a worsening coronavirus pandemic and recession at home.
