Pay-by-phone parking in Oxford has received a boost with the extension of the RingGo service to include Oxford city council car parks as well as the Oxford railway station park. Benefits of the scheme include the standardization of phone parking systems across the city and a cheaper call rate to the RingGo number. Using payment by credit or debit cards, the pay-by-phone concept cuts out the need to carry change and the inconvenience of returning to your car to top up the parking meter.
