Oxford to extend free WiFi

Many public buildings in Oxford will have free WiFi available by March 2015.

Libraries, community centres, museums, park and ride sites will be able to offer free broadband connections to residents and tourists thanks to the government's £150 million investment to provide free connectivity in 22 cities across the UK in 2015.

Some of the museums in Oxford include the Ashmolean, the Pitt Rivers, the Museum of Natural History and the Museum of the History of Science.

For more about the government's programme and the cities involved in the scheme see the website.
