Parisians and visitors to the city will be able to skate and even sled in a special complex just outside the Paris town hall and in Montparnasse until 26 January. There are two rinks near the town hall, as well as a smaller one for children and a special sledding area that has been created for the first time this year. The skating complex in Montparnasse is a bit smaller than the one at the town hall. Last year 142,422 skaters visited these winter facilities. The town hall rink is open Mon-Thurs 12.00 to 22.00, Fri 12.00 to midnight, Sat 09.00 to midnight, Sun 09.00 to 22.00. The Montparnasse rink opens at the same times but closes every evening at 20.00. Admission is free and skate hire costs 5.
