On 3 June Madrids municipal outdoor swimming pools open for 3 months from 11.00 to 21.00 every day. As part of an updated health and safety programme, the water of the pools will be analysed four times daily, with the results displayed at the entrance. A campaign will also give information on sun exposure, hygiene, digestion and swimming. This year pool-users have the option of a summer season ticket costing 112 for adults, 89 for teenagers and 67 for under-13s. Entrance is free on the day the pools open.
