Since the much-loved Polaroid brand filed for bankruptcy in the US in 2008, worldwide stocks of its iconic instamatic film have been dwindling fast and are not expected to last beyond the end of this year.

However, lovers of the brand need not give up hope. The Instant Film shop in Berlin, brainchild of Austrian businessman and artist Florian Kaps, will begin selling its own film, made using Polaroid film-manufacturing equipment, by next year. Kaps has called his mission to give the Polaroid brand a new lease of life
