Enrolment is open for Barcelona city councils occupational training courses aimed at getting the unemployed back into the labour market. Over 1,000 places are available in Barcelona Activas 67 courses covering 49 different trades and professions, including Oracle database programming and mechanical design. There is also training for diet and nutrition technicians, hospital nursing auxiliaries and carers for Alzheimer sufferers while business courses offer warehouse manager and foreign trade assistant training programmes as well as courses on how to set up and run your own business.
