Vienna reserves on-street parking for residents

Special on-street parking areas for cars of residents are now available in the Vienna centre-city districts of Mariahilf, Neubau and Josefstadt.

The special parking bays are reserved both for residents’ cars provided with a sticker and for those of disabled drivers.

About 10 per cent of the parking in each area is now reserved for residents.

The pilot project, which will last for a year, is designed to free up more space in other key areas. Motorbikes are excluded.
