Vienna’s luxury Guest House

A new luxury hotel, but along the lines of a guesthouse, will make its debut in Vienna in autumn 2013. The concept behind it is to make clients feel as though they are at home or in their own apartment.

There will be 39 bedrooms of about 30 sqm each, an all day restaurant, but no spas or fitness facilities. The idea is not to compete directly with other luxury hotels in Vienna but to give clients something different.

British designer Terence Conran, who designed the five-star Das Triest in Vienna, will also design the Guest House. Like Das Triest it will be managed by Manfred Stallmajer.

The Guest House is aimed at both the business market and private customers. It will employ about 30 people and the investment is estimated to be around €19 million.
