Welcome back, Sacher

After a ten weeks closure due to covid-19, the Hotel Sacher in Vienna has reopened its doors.

Tourists or top-class businessmen will now be able to go back to its very elegant rooms, to admire everywhere (including corridors) beautiful 17th and 18th Centuries paintings, to dine in its two restaurants and to go to the Opera just crossing the street.

But let’s say it, most people (especially children) love the Hotel Sacher for another reason: the Sacher Torte, considered by most the best chocolate cake on earth. And with that wooden box, so useful at home… We have to stop, by fear of being too kind to the Hotel Sacher.

Somebody could get angry, for example the very famous Demel that makes another unbelievable chocolate cake. Let’s say it that way: if you happen to be in Vienna, don’t forget to get a wooden box.
