10 Picassos from the Kunstmuseum Basel

The Prado presents ten masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, on loan from the collection of the Kunstmuseum Basel in Switzerland, which is currently closed for renovation works.

The ten paintings by Picasso date from between 1906 and 1967, and are on display in the central gallery of the Prado's Villaneuva building, forming a mini retrospective to the Malaga-born master.

The works include Harlequin sitting, Woman with hat sitting on couch, and Venus and Cupid (Vénus et l'Amour). The project is part of a broader collaboration between the Museo del Prado and the Swiss museum.
