Halle Saint Pierre celebrates 25 years of Raw Vision, the English magazine dedicated to bringing so-called outsider art, or art brut, to a wider audience.
The magazine is considered the Rolling Stone of outsider's art, and remains the only international publication of its kind.
Founded by painter John Maizels in 1989, the magazine has a small freelance staff and publishes scholarly feature articles and general news about outsider art. It is published three times a year and each issue has a focus on alternative art from different countries.
The exhibition in Paris comprises documents, photographs and work by over 80 artists including Joe Coleman and Mr Imagination (US), Nick Blinko (UK), André Robillard (France), Viljo Gustafsson (Finland), Cheri Samba (Congo) and Pushpa Kumari (India).
Mon-Fri11.00-18.00. Sat 11.00-19.00. Sun 12.00-18.00
