18 April - 26 August. The Amsterdam Museum is staging numerous exhibitions and events to celebrate the historic economic and diplomatic ties between Turkey and the Netherlands.

The exhibition "Chamber of Levantine Trade - Dutch Merchants and Ottoman Sultans" deals with the early history of 400 years of relations between the two nations.

"Dutch Pioneers in Turkey" is an exhibition of photographs by Gunay Uslu and Geert Snoeijer. The Dice Kayek fashion label was inspired by the colours of Istanbul for its exhibition of 20 outfits in "Istanbul Contrast" until 19 June.

The photograph and film exhibition "Turkish Pioneers in Amsterdam" tells the story of the first generation of predominantly young Turkish men who came to Amsterdam in the 1960s.

With "ZomerSALON" the museum provides a stage for young Dutch and Turkish designers and artists.
