28-29 Oct 2006. Ballet Ireland gives three performances of A Christmas Carol at Dublins National Concert Hall in a choreographed re-telling of Charles Dickens classic tale. Ebeneezer Scrooge, the mean-hearted old miser who hates Christmas and all it stands for, is visited on Christmas Eve by the Ghosts of the Christmas Past, Present and Future. Their visit heralds a radical change in Scrooges outlook, teaching him the value of kindness and opening his eyes to the beauty of life. Ballet Ireland was founded by Gnther Falusy and Anne Maher in 1997 and now mounts two major productions annually. Admission 27-25, matinee 21, children 15. Performances 28 & 29 Oct at 20.00, 29 Oct at 15.15.
