Arthur Miller's much-loved tale of illicit desire is set in 1950's New York and is centred on Eddie Carbone and his family who host their Italian cousins, illegal immigrants Marco and Rodolpho.
When the family's orphaned niece Catherine falls for the charming Rodolpho, the atmosphere in the household takes a turn for the worse and revenge leads to tragedy.
Miller was the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize and is recognised as having had a huge impact on modern American theatre.
Joe Dowling directs the Gate production, with Scott Aiello as Eddie, Joey Phillips as Rodolpho and Lauren Coe as Catherine.
Mon-Sat 19.30. Sat matinees 14.30 on selected dates.
