18 December 2009 - 17 March 2010. The work of Russian avant-garde artist Alexander Rodchenko (1891-1956) is currently on show in Amsterdam's Foam_Fotografiemuseum. Comprising over 200 vintage photographs, this retrospective exhibition of Rodchenko's unique work is the first time that many of the images have been exhibited in the West. The artist was celebrated for his graphic style, his acute camera angles and his startling use of perspective. He has left behind a legacy of surprising and anecdotal insights into the social and political life of the former Soviet Union.

Daily 10.00-18.00, Thurs/Fri: 10.00-21.00.
