Until 11 Sept 2005. The Royal Tropical Museum KIT Tropenmuseum is one of Hollands most fascinating anthropological museums. The beautiful old building at 2 Linnaeusstraat houses eight permanent exhibitions, as well as a series of ongoing temporary exhibitions, one of which is All About Evil. The universal and timeless nature of evil and humankinds struggle against it makes this a spectacular display of bad luck, misery and total disaster, spanning all cultures, all countries and all ages. From the alien creatures of Star Wars to the Balinese witch Rangda, from Satan to the West African trickster Eshu, from Kali, the nude Indian goddess of evil, to Dutch cartoon witch, Eucalypta, right through to Bush and Bin Laden, this collection of demonic images, exotic talismans, strange sound effects and scary film clips takes the visitor into every kind of hell that mankind has managed to devise. Admission 7.50 children half price. Daily from 10.00-17.00.
