1 April - 8 June 2011. Organisers of this group exhibition at the Amsterdam Photography Museum (FOAM) highlight the fact that photojournalism is undergoing something of a renaissance. Continuing advances in technology have seen the old-fashioned camera often replaced with online video, live streaming of images and web-based presentations, radically altering the visual reporting of news.

Examples of such imagery is provided by, among others, Broomberg & Chanarin, Mauro Andrizzi, Jonathan Cavender, Robbie Wright, Shane McDonald, Ariella Azoulay, Paul Lowe, Laura Kurgan, Renzo Martens, Paul Fusco, Gilles Peress and Susan Meiselas. Housed in a canal house on the Keizersgracht, FOAM showcases a broad range of genres by both established and up-and-coming photographers.
