Arnulf Rainer-Dieter Roth. Mixing and Separating.

26 Sept 2008-11 Jan 2009. This exhibition is dedicated to the works produced in common by Arnulf Rainer (b.1929) and Dieter Roth (1930-1998) between 1973 and 1980. On display are 120 works, which range from paintings to drawings, photographs, videos and sound installations, which provide an insight into one of the most intensive and creative collaborations between avant-garde artists during the 1970s. In fact, in 1972 Roth created a room in his atelier/home reserved for collaboration of the two Austrian artists, where until 1979 they produced over 500 works.
