23 April-2 Oct. The Stedelijk Museum shows paintings created since 2012 by the young New York artist Avery Singer, whose dramatic work recalls vintage computer graphics.
Singer makes her large-scale monochrome paintings with the aid of Photoshop image-altering and 3D modelling computer programmes such as SketchUp.
The exhibition includes the vast Statements installation, shown at Art Basel in 2015 and now in the Stedelijk's permanent collection, as well as several recent works made specifically for the show by the Bronx-based artist.
Tues, Wed 11.00-17.00, Thurs 11.00-22.00, Fri-Sun 10.00-18.00
