17-23 July 2006. The Royal Danish Ballet performs four popular dance-works from its repertoire under the linden trees in the GrnnegrdsTeatret in the courtyard of the Danish Museum of Art and Design. Choreographer and designer John Neumeier presents his 1963: Yesterday to the music of the Beatles, followed by Tim Rushtons dance-work Nomade to Arvo Prts Fratres (1977) and Stanton Welchs ballet nsket. The closing piece, Napoli (3.akt), by the father of Danish ballet, August Bournville, is performed to music by Niels W.Gade, Edvard Helsted, H.S.Paulli and H.C.Lumbye. The show lasts 75 minutes. Royal Ballet dancers include Silja Schandorff, Gudrun Bojesen, Caroline Cavallo, Thomas Lund, Kristoffer Sakurai and Kenneth Greve. Admission Dkk240-Dkk110. Performances daily at 19.30. Matinee Sat at 16.00.
