27 Nov-8 Dec 2006. The Tivoli Gardens Pantomime Theatre presents Love in the Dustbin, a childrens ballet based on three fairytales by Hans Christian Andersen. Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and choreographer Dinna Bjrn have created a pantomime-ballet featuring the Spinning Top who falls in love with the supercilious Ball, only to be considered too inferior. Other characters include the Collars, the Darning Needles, the Comb, the Garter and the Scissors, who also have delusions of superiority but who all end up in the dustbin. Five pranksters, the Five Fingers, provide the action linking the three fairytales. The performance at the Strekassen theatre runs for 45 mins. Suitable for children of 5 and over. Admission Dkk 40. Performances at 11.00 on 27-30 Nov & 1, 4-8 Dec and at 14.30 on 30 Nov, 1, 7, 8 Dec.
