Being Singular Plural

26 June - 10 October 2010. Uniting the work of a selected group of multi-media artists residing in India, this Deutsche Guggenheim presents an exhibition of moving-image works. Described as a craft based on the 'principles of practice, process and perception', the exhibition organisers have chosen to focus on artists who continue to work in film and video rather than embracing the newer media of computer-aided art. The artist-filmmakers participating in the show include Sonal Jain and Mriganka Madhukaillya of Desire Machine Collective, Shumona Goel, Shai Heredia, Amar Kanwar and Kabir Mohanty.
