Botanic Gardens summer concerts.

11 May-26 Sept 2008. The Botanic Gardens host a programme of classical, blues, jazz and world music concerts throughout the summer months. Opening with a special Sunday morning concert by the Dixie Brothers playing swing and Dixieland (11 May 11.00), the programme includes three concerts by ensembles drawn from the German Symphony Orchestra (30 May, 27 June & 11 July), a cappella world music in 20 languages from the Aquabella vocal quartet (18 July), the Shri blues band from Arizona USA (29 Aug) and South Korean-born pianist Ji-Yeoun You performing works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Chopin (5 Sept). The season ends with a concert by Natascha Osterkorn performing Russian gypsy songs and romances (26 Sept). Admission
