Buscot Park & The Faringdon Collection
Buscot Park is home to the Faringdon Collection, whose antique and fine art collection includes works by Rembrandt, Reynolds, Rubens and Murillo.
However its most popular painting is undoubtedly The Legend of the Briar Rose, by Burne-Jones. A late 18th-century house, Buscot Park is famed for its gardens which are surrounded by mature woodlands with views of the Thames plain.
The grounds are a mixture of Italianate gardens and English parkland, with highlights including the Four Seasons walled garden, created by the present Lord Faringdon; the Water Garden, designed by celebrated British landscape architect Harold Peto; and the Swinging Garden which guarantees fun for all the family.
