Until 22 December 2010. Taking place throughout the year, this tour traces the life of C.S. Lewis, the novelist and academic most famous for 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. The tour is led by Ron Brind, a childhood friend of the Lewis family.
Brind's tour takes in 'The Kilns', the Lewis family home in the 1950s, and Oxford's Eagle and Child pub which acted as headquarters for 'The Inklings', a circle of intellectual and literary friends of Lewis, including J.R.R. Tolkien. The tour ends at the graveyard of the Holy Trinity Church in Headington Quarry, where the final resting place of Lewis can be observed.
