17 Dec 2005. As part of its many festive season offerings this year, the National Concert Hall in Dublin presents two candle-lit concerts with the Mozart Festival Orchestra in full 18th-century costume. The New Dublin Voices chorus and soprano Elizabeth Donovan, directed by Bernie Sherlock, will perform a selection of well-known carols including Good King Wenceslas, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Ding Dong Merrily on High and Silent Night. The orchestra will also perform various seasonal favourites including Pachebels Canon, Handels Christmas Sequence from Messiah and Vivaldis Gloria, conducted by Gary Cooper. Admission 39.5-19. Concerts at 15.15 and 20.00.
