Cézanne

The Thyssen Museum pays tribute to French Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) with a major exhibition of his paintings.

It is Spain's first show in three decades dedicated to the artist whose work acted as a bridge between late 19th-century Impressionism and 20th-century Cubism.

The exhibition focuses predominantly on the two principal genres in Cézanne's oeuvre: landscapes and still lifes.

The show is curated by the museum's artistic director Guillermo Solana and features numerous works never previously exhibited in Spain.

Tues-Sun 10.00-19.00.
