Channa Horwitz: Counting in Eight: Moving by Color

The KW Institute for Contemporary Art presents a retrospective charting the career of Californian artist Channa Horwitz (1932–2013).

The comprehensive exhibition traces the journey that led Horwitz from figurative painting to conceptual abstraction, and features important works from all phases of her career.

The show is divided into key sections such as the Language Series, Rythyms, and Structures, and includes a selection of drawings and documentary material, on public display for the first time.
