Le Jeu de Paume presents an exhibition of photos, video extracts and other documents of the artist at work. What was the life-path of the poor London child who went on to conquer America? How did he create the Little Tramp character? How did he turn the character into an adult against the rise of nazism? The exhibition retraces this wonderful life story.
