1 Feb 2008. Climate change expert and director of the Benfield UCL Hazard Research Centre, Bill McGuire, presents a talk on saving planet earth at the Oxford Playhouse. With new research pointing to irreversible damage being done through global warming, from the melting polar icecaps to tsunamis, landslides and earthquakes, McGuire suggests some urgent remedies. The talk is presented in association with Science Oxford. Admission
