Until 31 December 2010. Established in 1986, The Oxford Coffee Concerts are now firmly etched into Oxford's cultural calendar, and produce some of Britain's most successful chamber music series. The concerts take place most Sundays (check website for details) in Oxford's Holywell Music Room, the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Europe. Opened in 1748, the concert hall seats 250 and has hosted some of the world's greatest composers including Handel and Haydn. Admission is free for children aged between 5 and 10 years when accompanied by an adult, but children under 5 years are not permitted.
Most Sundays: 11.15.
